I was browsing on my V800 last night and i noticed that it got extremely hot. I was holding it for a long time but i have never had a mobile phone warming up so much. Has anybody else ever expirienced this?

I have not had any trouble with mine.
Best solution to reslove this would be to plunge it into some ice cold water.

If it's the battery, have it checked immediately. Have it replaced ASAP. Phones should not get hot even when used non-stop.

Maybe it has something to do with the kind of stuff you're browsing

@m6 See thats the problem.. I do not want to resort to taking it back. They will probably send it away for service and i cant be forked having to miss it for like 2 -3 weeks.

hmmm, maybe tell them that you need a replacement as you need your phone for work , and tell them if you don't replace it or give you a temparary phone then you will move network. |

ask for a replacement, and if you get more problems lateron, get a new one, maby other brand.

I've heard of this before, although I haven't used my V800i for ages, but mine has never got hot.
Get it checked as soon as you can, as that could be serious. Apparantly its something to do with the fact that the phone is quite thin for an older 3G phone which apparantly caused overheating before. But I'm not sure.
Get it checked!

Took it to the citypoint and apparently its a common problem amongst v800's he said not to worry about it.
So i guess it will be allright.
