Hi guys,

My touchscreen is experiencing problems (have checked the posts and cleaned out the edges).

I can't get in to do a master reset using the touchscreen, can't access the service menue using the sequence mentioned earlier and want to know if it can be reset manually in some way?

TIA,

Alan

Yep - had to do the service centre.

Took 90 minutes and upgraded to the newest version free of charge (Carphone Warehouse).

Thanks for the replies,

Personally I prefer the P900 phone. It rocks

@TGP~ The Serv Centre people fixed his set with new Firmware (R5A ??)..

@Salma- if you are too keen for PDA functionality and touchscreen, go for THE 900.
W800, is a meaty device more for audio, video related needs.. oops.. "desires"..

And the 'usual' advice- wait for new launch of P-series or go for P910 (if budget constraints permit)

Sorry for the delay in answering.

As just mentioned - I took it to the CPW and the flashed it for free. Great service.

However - the problem was with the touchscreen so they replaced that for me also. Phone under warranty still so no cost.
