hey i lost my v800 yesterday i was wondering i heard of blacklisted phones so what do i do?? do i go to the police or my local service provider to get my phone blacklisted. i know how to get my sim card back but thats it. thanks alot. i dont one someone who has my phone to be able to use it

Register a complaint with the police and inform your service provider as well cause they are the one's who will block the IMEI of your phone disabling it...

If it's insured, inform the insurance company as well to claim insurance
If at first you don't succeed, destroy all evidence of your attempt !!

I think that you should call your number if anyone picks it just tell that you will pay little reward if they return it to you and warn that if they dont you will block the phone.

The guy who stole it probably has it switched it off to prevent tracking of the phone and if he ships it out to some other country where IMEI blocking is not yet implemented, he wont be affected even if you block his IMEI

but it's definitely worth a try to call up the phone and make an appeal for returning the phone

i called my number already but the dude turned it off. i went to my service provider today and they blocked my old sim but they diddnt ask for my imei number or anthing so oh well.... i realy miss that phone and i also lost all my contacts.

Crumbs. Losing the V800 is bad enough, but losing all your contacts is very bad indeed. I hve all my contacts stored in Outlook so that if i ever lose my phone i have then to hand.

Hope you get your v800 back soon
