I was wondering if I could unlock my K700i which is currently on orange to 3g it does not matter which network.

No you cant. 3G works on a completely different system to what the K700i uses.

yup, the k700 is a GSM phone. If you want 3G, u have to get an  V800 or Z1010

yep has nothing to do with lock. GSM and 3G is 2 different things.
It's like you can't unlock a 700mb cd to 4,4gb DVD |
