During the spring ther was some talk about a new swedish mobile called Neonode based on MS PocketPC Phone Edition. As late as end of june they promised a release in august.
Does anyone know anything new about the phone and when I can get it?
Detailed specs would realy make my day  |

Latest release date is christmas...
Swedish magazine Mobil has an article about it:

For those who can't read Swedish... Neo5, the company behind this phone, says the delay is due to that they are implementing speaker and microphone (before you had to use external speaker/mic), the phone will also have a new design.
Mobil also says that they will present pictures on the new Neonode within a month. |

THANK GOD!!!! FINALLY!!! A nice phone from Sweden again!!!!
I seriously miss the REAL Ericsson designs... Neonode may not have the same designs... but they are just as nice...none of this baby blue crap from SE.  Too bad... I was such an Ericsson loyalist. (I even have their small FRS radio just cuz it was by Ericsson) And I wish I could have their deskphones...like the ones in MI-6 in Die Another Day! |

Well, i´ve wrote an e-mail to the redaction of mobil.se publication an they have confirmed to me that the NEODONE N1 really exists and they have had one in their hands for two days. They also tell me that they will have one for test in january and the NEONODE guys insist in February launch!!!

Here is the answer:
The Question was: Does the n1 neonode have handsfree only
Answer from crew: It comes with handsfree AND it is also possible to speak, holding it as an ordinary phone - to your head

yeah, i played around with it when i used to work 4 panasonic. its cool, but is overrated, the camera is terrible and badly located
