Hello,
May gusto akong phone na bilihin dito sa US pero ang band na gamit ay 850/1800/1900 (cingular). So puede ko ba siyang gamitin sa atin pag-uwi ko? I know in some area they use 900. I will stay mostly sa south like Batangas, Manila and towns in between.

Sun celluar just use 1800 right? but ok ba naman and coverage sa atin? Particularly sa areas na nabanggit ko?

Salamat

globe & smart use both 900 & 1800 Mhz, like most of the GSM world.

but in some areas they implement only 900MHz, you can notice that GSM antenna sizes are different, small(1800) and almost double the size for 900.

Thats true .... Smart and Globe use 900 and 1800 Mhz. To be sure, go with Globe since they use both bandwidths anywhere in the country. If im not mistaken, Smart uses 1800Mhz in the provice and 900Mhz in NCR or vice versa (please correct me if im wrong).
