I don't know if anyone has had the same problem, if you have i'd be glad to hear your suggestions. I've checked my profile and tried turning it on in sounds and alerts....but still no success.
Could an error occured in the software when it was being transferred?
Would master reset help.

Check your profile and make sure its not turned off!
Make sure you are not charing it as it wont work when you are.
Make sure the ringtone you have selected has vibration active.
Have you tested it in the service menu?
Ed
PS your thread title may be open to some piss taking!
edit: I see you've changed the title & tried the above.

Thanks ed for that. I guess the service menu you refer to is in settings. The vib alert is switched on there but nothing happens..

@bubblo
if you enter the service menu with this key combination:
left * right right * right *
you can find a test menu in which you can test some different things... for example the vibrating... this is what edwardm meant

don't bother about what shows in the screen.... just press the sequence (make sure you are not inside any menu when doing it) |

I decided to come back with some developements on this topic. I find the whole thing extraordinary. My vibe alert was working perfectly before i took it to the service centre, its switched on in sound and alerts and it registers in the service menu yet its still not working.
It definately has to be the software which is version R2E006, i would be intersested to hear from anyone who has this SW version and have experienced similiar problems.
You know its weird, I was speaking to a rep at the centre today and she said that they'll have it back in as the SW may not have been fully installed???????????????? Is that possible?
I don't want to labour the point but i have also noted that sms's in the sent items folder come up as pending even when they have been delivered and opened.
Don't say i never warned you, upgrading you t68 may result in reduced functionality of your phone.
