Be sure to set the configuration right in your Control Panel, Phone Monitor Option, Tab Com ports, COM3 Enabled (!!)
This should do it ...good luck |

it's isn't always COM 3, check first your virtual com port settings and determine which one you use.

No, its because you need to enable COM3 or COM4 (or whatever the USB cable has set up to).
For some reason the Ericsson Phone Monitor disables them by default...

oops, just saw this posting. are all the mobilephonemonitors in the difference packages the same version? or is there a specific one i have to download? will go and check to see if the com port has been enabled.

In the COM Ports portion of Mobile Phone Monitor, enable ALL ports EXCEPT the ports that have a device connected to it. For example, if you have an external modem connected to Serial Port COM 1, then disable COM 1. For some reason, this helps as the system will just skip ports that do have a device connected to it already.
Once you have done this and still "No phone detected," go to SETUP portion of Mobile Phone Monitor and click on Troubleshooter.

First check if your cable setup is working. Go to Hyperterminal and open the com port your phone is on. Try typing AT, enter. If your phone is properly connected, you should get OK. |
