How do the lighting work on your t68.s ?(buttons and display)
Mine has a strong light at the display and upper buttons (yes and no) .. but then it fades further down .. the bottom buttons hardly lights at all in darkness.
Am i alone with this?
Btw: saw some early pics of t68 (b4 release) .. on those pictures the joystick button was lit in the middle.. (like a blue LED) My joystick only has light around its "bottom" .. anyone seen this? |

Yep,..I saw the first pictures of the T-68 with blue light in the joystick too
Guess it was the prototype.
Havent heard of anyone who has actually got the joystick-light.
Yes the light in the phone fades a bit, in the lower buttons.

The following is a post from other newsgroups
"The most recently manufactured T68's have modified hardware. Here's the information that I have read, although none of it is confirmed.
The hardware version is printed on the label behind the battery (mine says R1A). The latest phones reportedly have hardware version R3B with the noticeable differences that the key backlight is white (making the keys much easier to see in the dark than at present with the amber backlight), the volume slider doesn't rattle as much, and there is an overall improvement in build quality.
I'd be interested to hear if anyone else has experience of this. Another question is, when sending your T68 to an Ericsson service centre for a firmware update, I wonder if they would also be willing/capable of upgrading the hardware as well? My gut instinct says no as this would be a bit of a hassle for them changing LEDs etc., but if they have identified several deficiencies in the phone hardware as well as its software then maybe they should put those right as well??"
So anyone have the R3B Hardware?? Is it true?

I have sent an email to asking if it is possible to update the hardware on a T68.
I`ll tell about what they answer me.
