K we all know how big companys make money add on this ect ect does any one have any input on

Nobody i know has ever been able to get that thing working. It did however mess up a couple of phones...opera wants to restart now.
PS: i'm talking about s60 phones btw.

K well all it did was direct me to mdk.opera.com and thats about all it did when installed i also set it to free 02 gprs settings but still dead. uninstalled opera and started again ...

Hey! They say if you don't want the accelerator, just keep the proxy disabled.

it does work..it's a chargeable service though...hence the reason it doesn't function via o2 free proxy server.when you install it,it just alters settings in the preferences fields....have a look,you'll notice.

Maybe it doesnt work with proxy unlike opera browser. Whiz has igprs and its working for him so i guess igprs is needed.

Opera accelerator changes proxy settings in the browser preferences. The proxy is their own server, so all your browsing is thru their servers. That's the reason I can't use it coz I have my own proxy settings of my carrier for browsing internet using WAP account.
On a side note, google mobile search also uses google's proxy servers. For example, I browse regular site "Times of India" using google's proxy... No ads or banners, just text and did I forgot to mention that google is free

I use it on my P910 and it works well. I paid for it and am on O2UK.
Access the forum with a mobile phone via esato.mobi
