Pantech has unveiled its new handset PG-1000S made as a clamshell and weighing just 80g.
This 3-band GSM 900/1800/1900 MHz/GPRS phone has 16-tones polyphony and the opportunity to save up to 10 melodies and 10 ring tones variants. The device supports SMS/EMS, WAP 2.0 and a 7-colors network indicator, which allows identifying incoming calls. There are 3 color solutions for PG-1000S: Black, Light Blue and Silver.
The phone also features 82x42x23.3 mm of dimensions, a 1.5” 65K color internal screen, a monochrome external screen with a 1” diagonal. Pantech PG-1000S will be commercially available in Russia in May 2005.
