Hi Folks!

Could anyone who uses Vodafone Live, and the Vodafone.net email please tell me what exactly they can do.

For example, I can I log on to Esato. check my Hotmail, using Vodafone Live

I think the email address Vodafone.net can be configured on a person's own 'Vodafone.net' webspace to re-direct mail from other accounts.

I will do a search, but I value hearing any personal experiences and advice!!

Vodafone live! is the wap portal of Vodafone. Vlive is set at your homepage in a vlive phone, but besides Vodafone live! you can browse to any wap page (or internet page if you have an internet browser) you want. For example: the T610 you connect with vlive with the right softkey (icon at the bottom-right says vlive) when connected and homepage is loaded, you can press right softkey again and select "more" now you can enter any wap page. There are also other ways to directly enter any wap page you want.
Everything was ugly, but your beautiful face.

thanks, I understand about WAP and Mobile Internet and those things.

Sorry, I should have rephrased my question!

Is Vodafone Live any good? Does anyone here like it?

What do you personally use it for?

I am using O2 at the moment and my contract is up soon! So I am wondering whether to hold out to see what o2 bring as new phones. Or whether to switch to Vodafone and get a 3G handset!

I use vodafone live in Australia mainly for games, tv guide and to do my e-mail. Though recently they have change their site and can no longer gain access to my mail through phone. This has happened a few times in the past, a network prob but they say its the phone, which it aint. Apart from that, i do alot of wap/web browsing.

Hi Twerg!

so for you Vodafone is as good as any other providor?

O2 in the UK seems to be lagging behind Vodafone!

I have been with vodadone since my first mobile, back in 1996. Always reliable except for my e-mail, which really bugs me as they deny any prob on their part. Im on pre-pay which seems to be cheaper than all other carriers here in oz, with better services. Reception very good. Want their 3g but will be several years till it comes out in Tasmania i reckon.
