Rite people i need ur advice on what to do... i bought a fone just b4 the easter weekend from my local dealer shop. the fone kept freezin and rebooting over that weekend around 4 times a day so two different faults there. I took it 2 the shop the guy wudnt swap it or refund n said they will send it to SE 2 be repaird. Well now its almost 20 days and ive still not got it back??  whats goin on. The guy always says ring 2mro i'll get onto em. Surely SE cant be that busy so what can i do about it? Plz help i avnt 100quid 2 throw away like dat n im sorry if sumat similar has been postd b4 i have looked n cant find. |

Rofl ;o) its in manchester. I havnt rang SE i tried gettin the numbr frm their website thru ma fone but i just get pages n pages of countries n ive rang orange 4 it but they keep me on hold 4 ages n i dont av the patience for daft music down me ear lmao grrr. |

is the said retailer 'phones4u'?what phone is it...a fw update would've probably remedied the problem.personally i'd write a letter,photocopy it,and send registered or recorded mail.letters tend to hit the mark.

No its not phones4u or any major retailer like dat just a small phone shop near my house ive got one recipt frm buyin d fone and another sayin iv givin it to them 4 repair n d guy signed it aswel so im backd up there  i dnt think its the shop it must be SE but why take so long its not like d fone was in bits lmao n if it comes bak scratched can i do em? Coz i didnt even have it a week. Its a k500 i do av anotha in its box but dnt wana use dat coz i may still sell dat jus want me oda one back.

It has been known for service to take a long time for repairs but it can never hurt to give them a ring.

hey, sony ericsson repairs in the UK are awful and take a long time! on average, around 10-14 working days. SE contract out their repairs to a company called Celestica, their number is 01952230402, you might get further by calling them! (Im pretty sure actually that when you call SE about repairs they re-direct you to celestica if i remember right!)
