yes u can try, but the chances of the recipient gettin it is pretty much very slim to none.

Ha! Even intra country mms won't work properly here. How on earth will international work then!

Inter-operator mms doesnt work in india. The networks allow only intra-operator mms the country over. As far as my experience goes sending email mms is highly unreliable unless you're sending to good old yahoo mail. So the crux of the matter is you cant send international mms from any indian network....the further damper is even if you could there is well, a good to almost certain chance the other network wouldnt receive from your network.

That is serious! So what's all the noise about MMS about if its so limited?

Makes no difference to me anyway, as I hardly use it. I'm just interested in why this is the practice.
