Do you only pay for the amount of Kb you send with GPRS? (Telia, Sweden)

Yes that's the idea with GPRS - you pay for data transfered and not time online.

I mean if i just pay for the amount of Kb i send or do i also pay for the amount of Kb i receive. Its a pretty big different in the price cause i receive alot more than i send...

Yes you pay for the data you send and recieve via WAP. There is still something to be said for using dial up when downloading large files especially if you get free minutes. Ed

If you leave the phone idle for some time, does it send/receive any data (like checking that the connection still is on etc.)?

Dont know but i always disconnect GPRS when im done, it just take one sec to connect so why have it on?

It is about 1142Kb for one Euro here in Turkey.We have no special subscription for GPRS,everyone can set their phone with the given settings to start using GPRS.
And your Phone does not receive or send any data while idling.

Hello right now im somwere in denmark on a buss from Berlin to Oslo a 16 hour buss trip i started at 14:30 so i supose it is still a long wile before im in oslo! Anyway i disscoverd that it is possible to use gprs in denmark even do i have NetCom subscription from norway! Is it verry exspensive??

I've got Telia DOF, it's 5 Mb for 80 SKR, then 17 kronor/Mb
