Just got this phone and read in the manual that if you want to use an mp3 as a ringtone, you can only use a specially copyrighted one designed as a ringtone. Any way round this? |

no need to purchase any ringtones of vodafone - they make enough out of you as it is.
just download CAD-KAS ringtone editor 1.0 from http://www.download.com
perfect setting for s700i is:
sample frequency - 11025
select change sample format and highlight stereo and also bits per sample 11025
cut and select part of song you want as ringtone and then enjoy the hype that is mp3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i use this software all the time for mp3 ringtones
any problems just pm me
oh i forgot - select 'save' and not 'save as small ringtone' or else you will end up with midi tune hahahhahahhahhaha
