I have just bought V802SE... it is amazing. just a perfect phone. but i think i will have a lot of things to ask.
first - I can't connect it to my PC. I installed the PCSuite but it doest see my phone connected... |

The good thing is Java games work very good...
The bad thing is ringtones... can't understand can I use WAV or not?]
I mean without turning my V802 to Z800 wha files can I use for ringtones?

someone please... I tried every thing, mp3, wav, I also downloaded DRM packager but the only thing that I can play is midi. It doesn't even play the drm protected files, it says playing failed, and the same thing for mp3, wav... |

1 - i don't want to lose my japanese support... will I lose it?
2 - can some one tell me how to do it? whre from can I download the best version of the firmware? what software do i need to do it?

There are lots of threads here at esato regarding flashing.
Check the "search" button. It`s there for a reason

Of course I did use the search... It didn't help. I can't play any sound files on the phone... and I don't know how to update firmware or flash to z800... |

you can use mp3s but they have to be protected using a DRM package!!!!
Iv never tried Wav files

It looks like I will lose Japanese if I flash so I want to find another way... amr works but the quality - .... I think there should be the way with DRM, it woks on V800 so it should somehow work on V802SE..
But how??? who has especially V802SE here? especially Japanese version, how did you solve that problem?

theres lots and lots of threads about flashing the v800 to the z800 so none of this i cant find any crap
i can play mp3s on my v800 using the drm package someone linked me to..not sure about the 802? |

Well i give up - I will use MIDI tones. And wait till someone finds the way to use mp3 on V802SE without flashing.
By the way in camera quality settings what is better - fine or normal? |
