Looks like a new firmware for V800/Z800 have been released. On www.setool.net R1Y005 have been released (probably replaces R1X031). Since I don't have standalone version I'll have to wait for TMS to release it. But if anyone have any info about fix/bugs, please tell. |

I've done that last night by using the TMS... just metion that the TMS wrongly named the new f/w R1Y005 as R2Y005, but it doesn't matter.. Not much changed, hopefully some unknown bugs are fixed... |

R1Y005 very nice firmware - R2Y005 not so nice it seem 
Some people have reported problems with themes using the flashes on TMS support area.
R1Y005 very nice though for SEtool Standalone users 
Because the platform sends bogus messages while charging, that is why!!!..But why this change of heart?..We sense a charger connected, oops, we will not shut down after all!!!..*********************** UI BASIC, HOLD YOUR HORSES

I've flashed the "so called" R2Y005 but the information apeared in the >*<<*<* is R1Y005. Anyway, did you found anything changed in the new f/w? |

No i do not see any aesthetic changes but it is very stable firmware - very nice

Same here.
Looks like they have misspelled the firmware at TMS.
Mine says now R1Y005 as well and not R1Y002...
But, still some problems when applying some themes.

Talked to gbrooks3 though. Gonna do a master reset on the phone when I`m home. He haven`t observed these "bugs" on his phone.

@Gbrooks3 : Let me get this straight. There are 2 different f/w versions out? R1Y and R2Y? Which is the "good" one? I suppose if I flash my phone with one of them and it's buggy I can always reflash it with R1X031, right?

Only one firmware - TMS made an error with file name it would seem. Only R1Y.

Some new things with new sw now when you choose only GSM it stays there not like in R1X031 that once off and on the mobile grps and gps was again there, better colors in outside screen,Worldmate not there anymore,better signal and much stable in all.

Very stabile indeed. Just had to do a master restet, and all was good.
No problems with themes an such...

Hm, I upgraded to R1Y using setool standalone, and I have WordMate Lite installed. So WorldMate is still there for some reason in my case. I know some people have reported that it's gone after installing R1Y.
