My friend bought her T68i in Greenhills 2 weeks ago.
It has R4B hardware version. The rear portion (near the SIM) says:
T68i
2561/19 R4B
Software is R2E006
I don't know what's new. It doesn't say where it's made and it doesn't have Filipino under settings/language.

Actually the latest firmware release is R2F004
I just had it flashed onto my phone yesterday, when i went to have a minor repair, and have the face changed from T68 to T68i.
It seems the biggest improvements are on T9, where there is some changed in the way the phone hadles Capitalisation, whcih once you get used to it, is absolutely amazing!
Basically on the old system, the phone would automatically capitalise after encountering a new line, or a full stop. If you hit the shift button (*) the old system woudl permanantly change to capitals (Cpas Lock) until the the shift is turned off by pressing (*) again.
On R2F it does the same thing if you press it before typing a word. However, if you were to press shift in the middle of a word, it now capitalises the first charector of the word, handy for names, as you can type "janet" then before u press the "space" key, hit the shift (*) and it turns to "Janet".
other than that, I am tryign to figure out what else is new. |

Actually, it does this in R2E006 as well, although I didn't know!
Thanks mate, I was getting really annoyed at the phone for turning "CAPS LOCK" on whenever I wanted to just type in a name..
Great observation though! Thanks again |

Capitalisation - it's about time Ericsson caught up with Nokia: it's only taken them about 5 years! |
