I am 10 months into my contract with Vodafone (I dont mind waiting a bit longer) I spend around £100 per month with them and want some ideas on how to get a really good renewal deal this year, I did OK last year (p900 for £50) but later heard people were getting a P900 free and 6 mths free rental as well! So I want to do better this time round. I am going for a 910i. We only get one shot a year at getting a deal and Voda have been particuarly tricky this year (upgrade system is "down" each time I have called for last 2 weeks!) so any suggestions or tips on screwing a deal out of the network operators is welcomed!

OMG, you pay for your upgrades?

I'm with Orange, and I am notorious within their call centre, just say your annoyed with their branding etc, and that your thinking of leaving them! BAMM, they give you the phone for free, I upgrade every 5 months, with this method!

hmmm you must spend a fair whack each month to upg every 5 months.

ive customers that can upg every 3 months but they spend upwards of 1k a month.

you must be a the wrong talk plan then?

ir talk 60 and spending £100 per month,

if you like on say talk 600 at £55 a month, you can only upgrade every 9 months unless you have contacts in the exec office??

I just went to cancel my contract today. I went into the shop and they quoted 170 for an upgrade to a black V3 (only on 21 a month)

So i said not good enough rang 150 and they said they would give it me for 30 and give me 200 txts a month for free, so i bit his hand off lol
