Hi I was wondering if anyone could tell me what differant types of firmare are and what they do? I've seen it mentioned in plenty of places on the forum and I've searched for it in a few places but I still don't know what it is exactly. Can somebody tell me the basics about the subject?

Firmware is nothing but the software on which the phone runs. Like windows in pc.from time to time SE releases firmware updates to fix some of the problems or errors caused by the older ones. The latest firmware for your phone is R2AE033. You can access the service menu , where details about your firmware version are stored by entering the following key combination from the standby screen. Right * left left * left * . Right and left denotes the joystick direction. Try it!

K700i latest firmware is R2AL029 
Because the platform sends bogus messages while charging, that is why!!!..But why this change of heart?..We sense a charger connected, oops, we will not shut down after all!!!..*********************** UI BASIC, HOLD YOUR HORSES

on the se website go to support and download, you do need a sync station connected to the pc dss 20 or 25 |
