problem 1.All of a sudden I can not send sms from my T68(but I can recive). I take my sim-card and palce it in a T28, and now it works, I can send and recive. I take another sim-card(same operator) and place it in the T68, now I can send and recive sms, so I change back to the original sim-card and can only recive, not send.Any ideas what is the fault?

I'll checked the servicenumber, and that's the same in both phones and simcards. I'm running R2A.

Problem 2. If I use the Mp3-player, and goes from the menu 'select tracks'using 'no' button fast the phone hangs/lock so I have to take out the battery. Anyone else having the same problems?

id say its a sim problem and not a phone problem, because you claim that it works with other sim cards right?how long have you had that sim card because some new sim card have more memory space and some older one are not supported in some way!!!

The thing is that the simcard that doesn't work in the T68 now(to send sms other wise it works), worked two days ago and it still works when I put it in the T28. I upgraded my phone to R2A and send a couple of sms/ems that day, the day after it didn't work in the T68 anymore. But I can use that sim card when I call, do wapping and so on.

Btw my phone resets it self more with R2A then with R1C, I don't know if that's got something to do with it. But I call my operator to have the sim exchanged to begin with, but I think this is really strange....

you might need you service provider to send you a sim update as a sms
as far as your sim thinks it is dealing with the old software maybe this is why

I have exactly the same problem. Upgraded to R2A013. Could send the first day. Then no more sending but it works in other phones. I also get more resets of the phone. Today two times so far. I got a phonecall and on the first ring the phone made a reset. 1 hour ago the phone made a beep and the time/date was reset. I will go back to the serviceshop on monday and ask them to try and reflash it.
I think that on the earlier software there was an option to say if you wanted to send sms by GSM or GPRS. I cant seem to find it in the menus anymore.

On my T68 with the R2A upgrade i can find the SMS by GSM or GPRS under connect / Data comm / SMS access.

The reason seems to read Telia. I guess you have Telia as operator as me. Telia has turned of SMS over GPRS last week due to bad "quality of service". They say they have to fix it and they cant say when it will be turned on again.
One could have suspicions about that its financial reasons behind it to. Anyone made any calculations what the price difference is to send SMS over GSM or GPRS?
