First of all, welcome to Esato.
I'd advise not to put any mp3's on your c:drive of your phone. And always keep enough room free on c: to make sure your phone doesn't get slow or freezes.
Now if you are gonna use your p-series for mp3 listening it is best to buy a card reader,(not that expensive) then all you do is drag and drop from your mp3folpder to your pXXX's audio folder on your memory stick.
You can use the cradle but that'll take lots of time for filetransfer.
Anyway, make sure the phone's on the cradle and the cradle's plugged in. Then click on the P9XX-logo on your desktop and you should be able to see the different folders of c: and d:. It's drag and drop to the appropriate folder from there.

hi! um, i'm having the same problem with transfering file from my pc to my p910i, specially mp3 files.
oh btw, i'm really a newbie here and its my first time to own a sony ericsson fone. and i suppose that the 'cradle' is the SyncStation, right?
correct me if i'm wrong please. thanks.
back to my prob: when i click on the phone icon in my desktop, all i see is a question mark icon saying Not Connected and i can't even right click on it. I'm sure my phone's connected and its recognized coz of the phone icon in the taskbar.
any help will be very much appreciated. Thanks!
