Help!!-How do I increase volume of message alert (T68i) |

I used to have a T28 & a T39 and I liked the volume level of the "message alert" but with my new T68i, the message alert tone is pretty soft - even with the volume level at 6/6.
How can I increase the message alert volume level?
Will a firmware upgrade solve this? I have R2E006. |

I am afraid that is the best we can get :-(. I am also disappointed with that. Even with vibrator on, i still miss a lot of text due tothat :-(

I confirm...
It's not possible... And you are not the only one complaining about it!
Many persons miss the "old" E/// message alert.
Think than an improvement for the future would be to be able to choose/download the SMS ring/volume.... |

U R not alone for this disappointed feature. I'm also sick with this. Seems SE still one step behind Nokia in this case.

Sorry, silly question I imagine, but how do you get a vibrating alert on incoming SMS messages? When I receive a message, I simply get tone, a very quiet tone (lol). I have vibrating alert set to ON, and message alert set to TONE. I'm on firmware revision R2E006.
Regards,
Lee

I'm not sure whether I've got to the bottom of this vibrating SMS alert problem. To be honest, I'm not quite sure if anyone even has this feature. So, to clarify, when any of you lot get an SMS, does your phone also vibrate? If so, what settings do you have?
Cheers,
Lee

I had my T68 upgraded just before the weekend (R2E 006) set vibrator on, when I received an SMS I got the quiet tone and my phone vibrated. Prefer the old message alert though, much louder which when working in a garage as I do, it was great. Oh well, its an excellent phone so can't complain too much.
