i've recentlty updated my v800 firmware via the SE site and its totally messed up my games and apps folder.
when i switched my phone back on and went through the menus my games and apps folders appeared empty.
when i went back into my games folder 2 games appeared.
but the thing that gets me most is when i deleted a game exited the games menu and went back in, another game appeared.

i'm gonna be brave and try updating again. phones vodafone CS last night about the games thing as i bought a couple of games. the girl told me that i can download the games to the memory stick on her v800. either she's only just got it and has'nt got a clue or theres a firmware version that allows this out there somewhere,.
she kept me on hold for about 15 mins but she did give me a refund on the games...

I've got the same problem - recently flashed to R1S025 - none of the installed applications show up in the phone, and I can't see the applications folder in the phone suite browser nor on the memory stick. |

yeah i've got 2 contracts £65 per month.
i lost my phone but it was'nt insured so i still gotta pay for it.
i added an additional phone to my account.
so refunding £8 is nothing, although i've still got the games (i just can't access them)
i'm gonna bring it to vodafone and see what they say...

Just performed the update. All went through fine but lost games and apps. Can't seem to get them back.
If i did a master reset - would I loose the new firmware or what that stay? |

the same thing happeed to me, my apps list said it was empty. i tried installing jbenchmark into the apps dir. the size of the folder increased but it still said it was empty. as for the games list, it couldnt display all my games so when i deleted one, another showed up. i did a master reset and that solved the apps problem (they say they are empty and they are), i havnt uploaded any games to it so i cant say if it fixed that problem |

I emailed SE Support - they asked me to post the phone to a service centre. I pointed out that if the bug is in the firmware, I don't see how a service centre is going to be able to fix it (unless they downgrade the firmware version), and thus I wasn't happy with their proposed solution... |

Updating firmware should not cause any problems... Must be your phone. |
