Hi there,

I am from London and will be going to the Philippines next Friday and will be bringing my wonderful (but slow) T68 (with upgraded software) to use in the Philippines.

I was wondering if any Filipino users out there could assist me in giving me advice on the best way of getting a 'pay as you go' sim card WITH WAP access.

Any other details such as cost of calls, the best operator, any potential problems that could affect things etc would be really appreciated!!!

Cheers in advance, Ed.

In addition to what asimo said, you can check out the web sites at www.smart.com.ph and www.globehandyphone.com.ph

Thank you both for such quick responses, it will make my holiday that little bit more pleasant knowing that I have some form of access to my emails and other bits and bobs.

The Globe website was easier to use and find the information I was looking for and so hopefully it will be plain sailing from there!

I am eternally grateful!!!

(Any other handy hints or useful tips would be appreciated)
