I'm looking to move to 3 network soon and still deciding on it and although most of us are aware of the fact that the quality of reception/signal on 3 isn't as good as the other 4 netowrks in UK, my question is regarding the 3G handsets.
Basically, for those that have used more then 1 3G handset on 3, which 3G handset do you think offers the best reception/signal (taking into account the number of dropped call rates, quality of call etc.)?
Also, which handset best deals with changeover from 3G to 2.5G without dropping calls? |

i cant help you much but i had a nec e313 once and it was massive, battery sucked and dropped the call about 3 times in one conversation.signal was ok though.always had signal and the features were good but it was too big and expensive for me. i wouldnt reccomend going onto 3 though. someone i know has an lg8120 or whatever the models called and he has constant problems with it. if you do decide to go on 3 then get one of the newer handsets which may have less bugs. |

the new phones might be ok but i dunno. the old ones suck though so beware of them! way too bulky for me. they weigh around 140g and are so chunky.

good points:
they have big screens,
expandable memory,
clear ringtones
rotating camera,
good camera and video,
Bad points:
Battery is very poor if you use the 3 services,
expensive on pay as you go,
no preinstalled java games well not on the nec e313 anyway,
bulky,
some have crap signal,
if they made a nice 3 phone with good signal signal and cheap price plan then i would buy it but i feel 3 it is too expensive and the phones are too bulky.

Well, I have experienced 3. It is a complete load of sh*t.
I daresay you don't need to know much more.
