I'm switching from Nokia 6210 to T68. Any experience/ideas on how to transfer the phonebook entries? (copy via SIM not good, as only the phones can store multiple numbers, etc per name). Thanks |

You can transfer it via IR. At the menu of your t68 -> Phone Book -> Business Cards -> Receive -> via IR. (Your IR are activated for 10 mins).
Then go to your Nokia6210, start sending all your contacts to your t68. Remember, both IR ports should be pointing with one another. Okey.

I don't believe that you can use any other option exept copying via sim. I used to have the Nokia 8210 and I had exactly the same problem. You cannot syncronize any Nokia with outlook or any popular software. The only thing which theoritically can be done is to take the phone book through LogoManager for Nokia and then to find a software or something to "translate" it into a file for MS outlook. However, I didn't find such software availble on the net. |
