In some nokia models, we can detect the radar active in area. Is it possible in K700i to detect the radar by entering some codes or application?

No one has ever claimed this work. Apparently when it detects a police speed radar, the phone beeps its message alert tone and hence warns the driver.

Is supose this would be possible via an extremely illegal company, but it would be for any mobile phone.
It would work like this:
You pay for the service, so X company keeps your phone located at all times, then when you are speeding anywhere where there are radars, you would get a warning from the X company telling you to slow down.

It would be easier to install a police scanner from a radio shack.

Actually, i have had an experience on that. I had a nokia fridge 5110 and it wap able tn detect radar. I must add that not all 5110's could do that, apparently only certain versions. If nokia could then, is it not possible with se700? |

1) Someone said it would be illegal, no it wouldnt- theres an alternative at radioshack.
2) The previous nokia models eg. 3210, had a particular code that changed ure operator logo temporarily and rumors about it being a radar detector spread like wild fire.
3) Its not really possible to do this, but I assume more recent phones with radio functions etc. could be tweaked for this purpose. |

hi there id like to prove all of you wrong but it works..
i had it on my 6110 couple years ago and it worked on those radar speed traps that catch you up to 600 km away.... the tower one not the actual cops!!!
ne i just called one of my friends who makes the speed traps- the idiot- but any way he confirmed that its very possible.... |
