I am attempting to change a k500i housing. I was wondering if anyone could give me a guide or a link to a guide?

Why don't you take it to a service centre? I guess you haven't got one nearby. :-)

How can your warranty have ran out ? The K500 hasn't been out 12 months yet. I changed the housings on my parents K500's a little while ago. The phone is only clipped together. Basically take the battery cover off, remove the battery and sim card and thats the rear section done. For the front. Where the silver section meets the center grey part use a flat blade screwdriver to pull them apart. The front section should just unclip. Just do small sections at a time around the phone be careful. Thats it.
