Vodafone are to start a new service for deaf customers. Video calls on their handsets will now feature a small extra window, in which an interpreter will use sign language to convey the spoken part of the video call to the deaf customer.
Vodafone spokesman Andrew Ekoj said that Vodafone was, "... committed to helping their disadvantged customers. Deaf customers have been really unimportant to us for a long time," he added, "they can't make phone calls so we haven't really bothered with them, but video calling allows them to be part of the Vodafone family."
The new service launches today.

tis a joke ppl... voda has had talk by text phones for a long time since 9210 came out an treats deaf customers the same as non deaf etc....
plus its a god damn stupid comment sayin they r unimportant! they can txt which is the networks biggest revenue maker!!!

i work any day i want...
if there ne1 else in voda on here ask me somethin only someone workin in voda would know.... like whats gonna happen to evening calls in about 2 or 3 weeks time!!!
