April 1st 2005 - Sony Ericsson chief executive announces the K550, available for International markets including Europe, America, And china.

Sony Ericsson's own Miles Flint today announced the successor to the hugely popular Sony Ericsson K500. The new mobile, the K550, will be available from mid Q2 2005, and includes a 176 x 220 262,000 colour screen, a high quality VGA camera and 3D gaming. It has 64 mb of internal memory and supports Real, AVI, MP4 and 3gp video formats and AAC, WMV and MP3 audio formats. It is aimed at the youth market, being small and lightweight yet bursting with features. It shall be available in two colours, Orange zest and Swift blue.

This phone is great! I love it! No MSDuo support, but 64mb of memory is quite enough for some videos, games, images and mp3 ringtones. Finally!

Well I was doubtful when I saw 64Mb memory and VGA cam, but I clicked on the link nonetheless
