I'm having German people over soon. I do not know much about them. Can any Germans or anybody else on Esato tell me something about Germans? Like their culture, ettiquete, manners, behaviour, likes/dislikes etc.
Tia

Hello Ayush!
Well, I am not a German, but hope I can help you...
- they are really talkative, so even in larger cities if you stand in a queue they talk to each other...
- but please not that they are not like Mediterraneans, so they are colder, self-containeder
- what they like? Beer
Well, they are really conformist, so you just do what you would if you get guests...
Show them the beautiful India, let them to see some Bollywood films ...
They like to see something new, to get acquainted with new cultures, foods...
Well, I know that this is not so much, but if you need more info or you need a small german lesson than mail me... (roobi@tippnet.co.yu)

I'm not german but i lived 12 years there, i don't know much about big cities cuz i lived in a small one. it's difficult to live there, especially when you are a turk ... and because of that i decided to live in turkey.
