I'm very sorry if this has been asked before. I have a new T630 (Vodafone Live) and on the "Old Phone" ringtone setting, it only rings about 4 times before diverting to voicemail. Is it possible to prolong the ring tone to 6 or even 8 rings?

Thank you very much.

I have a feeling that you can adjust it in the settings when you dial your voicemail.

Thanks tried that but there is nothing in the vmail settings that allows you to extend the ring time.

You must ask from your operator.

Yep. It's an operator setting. Give them a call asking if it can be changed. [addsig]

Found this will using the search (mite help not sure if it works tho)

Enter this in you phone's standby screen

*61*[Phone Number]*11*[Time]#

For example, to forward to 416-867-5309 after allowing your phone to ring for 25 seconds, you would enter:

*61*4168675309*11*25#

The Time parameter may be 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, or 30

The *61* option should work and I think 8 rings is 30 seconds and that is the maximum.
