New to site - found lots of useful information and tips-downloaded sounds and themes successfully to my disgo (USB mass storage device) whilst at work and then uploaded to K700i at home later, wonderful! Just wish you could change the SMS received message tone to something more personal, otherwise love my new phone!

Welcome.......glad to here you like your phone.......sms tones can be changed by the way.............
Because the platform sends bogus messages while charging, that is why!!!..But why this change of heart?..We sense a charger connected, oops, we will not shut down after all!!!..*********************** UI BASIC, HOLD YOUR HORSES

Just got my K700i, i have phoned orange and told them to transfer my number and now ive turn my phone on with the new SIM inserted.
How long does it normally take to transfer my number and recieve the txt message?

Ive sent a few text messages but there registering as MMS's can i change it so i only send SMS? |

of course..ensure you select the correct option while writing a new message..

When you select "write new" option from the messaging menu, u get two options text message and picture message, select text message, if that option is not there, it may be b'cos of the branding

I go into write new, then theres a blue cursor, i select add and then text. Is that the right way to do it? Because it seems as though it aint

Just sent a Txt to a friend and it came up on his phone "Subscribe to GPRS"!
My MMS counter is going up aswell, not my SMS. |

Dont worry, i turnt it off, then on again and its fine!
I think it was because i hadn't of turnt it off since the SIM update! SORRY!
