Data cable with T68i - someone help me! |

I have an R380s, T39m and most recently a T68i.
I used the cable that came with the R380s (original Ericsson) with my T39m on all OSs and it worked perfectly. I am trying to use that same cable with the T68i on WinXP and it acts up sometimes. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Anyone have any idea why?
I've tried everything from installing different combinations of the 5 Ericsson synchronization packages to third party software...

Its the same with my t68m and win2k. When I get no connection to my t68 I reboot and usually the problem is solved.
