The truth is – every one knows about D600 and other new Samsung phones on this forum, so what for did you create another topic? Just to ask “Could they be replacing the D500 so soon ???” ? |

Everyone. Er..no
The first time I heard of the D600 was when I read this on GSM arena and I have'nt seen anything about it on Esato either.
Oh and I did not create this topic just to ask if Samsung were replacing the D500 so soon either. I created this topic to give info about the D600 as I had not seen anything about it elsewhere on Esato.

Had only seen a thread briefly mentioning about the D600. There was no picture or specs on the phone which is why I started this thread.
I'm not too keen on the looks of the phone myself though. Doesn't look as nice as my D500. Specs look good.

Have seen a working model today in my local Carphone Warehouse. It's not a D series phone. It is in the E series brand and is called the E630. Carphone Warehouse did not have it for sale sim free and they said that it was exclusive to T Mobile and Vodaphone.
The E630 is about the same size as the E800. Keypad is hard to use as the keys are recessed below the silver/chrome trim that runs between them. The phone does feel nice to hold but looks wise it's awful imo. Screen is smaller that the E800 and D500 (couldn't really compare as I had my S700 with me at the time)

Was gonna say that myself mate, the D600 and E630 are two totally different phones. Although they are the same colour, thats more or less where the similarity ends. The E630 is a nice little phone and is smaller than the D600 but doesn't have as many features etc... |

Has anyone tried that speakerphone attachment thingy that comes with the E630, which apparently enhances the speakerphone and compensates for any noise interference, or is it pure gimmick and not much else?

The voice clarity is one of the selling points of the phone apparently. At least thats what the advert in CPW focus' on.
I couldn't see anything different in the E630 to the picture I posted in the start of this thread which was taken from the D600 spec review on GSM Arena. They look very similar then.
