Why? Not many people even use EMS here in the US, nor does the majority even know what the hell it is. You think with MMS, it would be different? lol. You and five other people in the US would be the only ones using it

As for your T68 freezing, check the hardware and software version. I know for a fact that Cingular is selling referbished old T68's in the US with lots of bugs in them, did you get it from them?

-deltayoda really , that just rings of bad business to me. Does the company tell consumers that the phones are refurbished?

isn't ATT the only one with (soon to be available) MMS?

That is what i heard. I also heard that t-mobile might be ditching the t68 for the t68i. Just a rumor. Since t-mobile in europe has mms, maybe they will push it here. It would be in the best interest if att and t-mobile both released mms around the same time. He only att has it, there would not be many people to send them to. Any opinions?

I think T-Mobile (old Voicestream) as an Original European company is going to offer first MMS Service in USA...
Tha same happen with the SMS and the same happen with the GPRS!.

Who knows. It may or may not catch on.

We in the US don't exactly have amazing SMS/EMS service like in Europe, where we can call a number and request a ringtone to be sent. Actually, SMS in the US is actually pretty limited (Most phones here are still limited to 160 characters), and even SMS automated services like Yahoo, won't send me anything longer than 160 characters. It wasn't until GSM started expanding, EMS and long SMS did as well. But even so, I still don't know many people that uses EMS other than myself and a couple of friends from Europe here.

In fact, for some odd reason, if I try to send EMS message to a phone that is known to be able to handle EMS, it ends up being all garbled up most of the time. Even to my T68i or T39, it sometimes ends up being all garbled up.
