Can somebody help me with the method of formatting nokia S60 phone while the phone is switched off.. Please post reply.. Its very urgent.. Thanks | |

dude, which phone is it? There used to be this one method with the old 7650's but it doesn't work with the 3650 and newer devices.
You press a combination of keys along with the power button and that makes the Nokia new.

Its 6600.. I am looking for the combination of buttons that needs to pressed.. I read it once but now i dont remember |

On a 7650, we used to press the little pencil (ABC)+ f (3 key) + Power for 10 sec's. The phone would then start up in some sort of text mode, showing booting and firmware stuff, then it would say: Remove your battery, and voila, good as new. But this trick doesnt work on the 3650, or 3660. Never tried it on the 6600, so I don't know. But I guess You will tell us.

Thanks dude.. Well I sold 3230 on the very next day.. Didn't quite like it as it did not meet my expectation.. Now using 6600 and waiting for 6680.. Nokia has already started shipping it so it will come here in d next week probably.. | |
