Hello,

when I text on my SE K700i, and I type IF or HE etc, the first option in the list is GE !!

This is no word I've ever heard of, and therefore I would like to delete it.

Is this possible ?

ps - Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere, but I've used the search and found nothing. (although I could be searching for the wrong thing)

Cheers.

If you type if many times, it will soon be more prioritated them ge. So you just have to sit and type if (with T9 on ofcourse) a few times and it will be the first choice that the T9 use.
Cheers!

That's what I thought, but it doesn't seem to be happening.

I've sent hundreds of texts, and IF has been used in a lot of them. I can honestly say GE has NEVER been used, yet it's still at the top of the list !

Is there no way to delete it I take it ?

Sit down for a while and just type if all the time. If that doesn't work you could write it as a special word(where you can type in own words) and then sit and just type it and see if that works. If that also fails, then your phone is mad at you for some reason. Then you could try a firmware upgrade to make him forget why it's mad at you.

Maybe GE is a sponsor.

@govigov

As always when suggesting that someone should do a reset, don't forget to mention that all other settings in the phone will be lost as well

Dont worry, phone will warn the user anyway. Moreover anyone with iq over 10 will know that.
