T68i SMS reply problem-Help! |

I have a new T68i (R2E firmware) and there are times when I reply and "include orig. message" that it somehow gets mixed up with the previously read message.
Has this beenfixed with R3A? I get this also in my R2S T-39.
Any work around? This is really annoying! |

I also sometimes (actually just once) experience that with my R4A008 T39m. |

what I mean is..
1. You receive multiple messages at the same time.
2. you read and reply to one message (lets call this "message 1") and in replying you include the original message of "message 1"..
3. then...you read the second message (message 2) and reply by including the original message (still message 2), what shows up is MESSAGE 1 (not message 2).
This is really annoying esp. if you're in a hurry and u can even unintentionally send the wrong cited message to another person.
Has this bug been fixed in R3A? |

Mozilla-> Hi, I know exactly what you mean cos I have the same problem but it doesn't happen all the time though. Must say it is pretty annoying when you're in a hurry! I didn't visit my local SE to rectify this cos it is intermittent and they would probably promise the flash my phone with the latest S/W but not solving the original problem as usual. Sorry, I know this is not giving you any solution to your problem but just want you to know that I know exactly what you're talking about. (R2A025)

I may have also encountered this problem here and then. I think the best way to get things straight again is by resetting the phone. Try turning ur phone off, then on again and see if it's ok now. It's just like a computer, the memory gets screwed up every now and then. Rebooting oftens solves the problem. |
