I am looking for the cheapest phone that can download java applications.Other things like BT,IR and polyphonics are absolutely optional. Basically i want to do html browsing.

A 3650 or 7650 if you need a camera.

I know that among 3650 and 7650, the 7650 is cheaper.But i doubt if it can let me do html browsing.

The best bet would be an ngage. If html browsing is what your main concern is. You can simultaneously browse three sites simultaneously. All you need is opera and netfront browsers.

Tell me more about the 7650. It is even cheaper than ngage. Tell me its html browsing capabilities.

I advice not to go for 7650 , it has a old version of symbian , go for 3650 ,or ngage ,or 3660 .

Yes. The 7650 is too old. And you can play good games with the ngage!

But folks, ngage is not going with my budget right now. So as you say 7650 has an old symbian, what difference would that make. My only need is html browsing. If it does that completely.

Ngage qd...Absolutely wonderful.Hot swap mmc,expansion to 1gb,hundreds of .Sis games and java junk,hundreds of apps/keygens,8 to 10hr browsing until low batt.I've got one..Has 30 to 40apps,120 to 140 .Sis games,etc.Just slowish browser.
