First it started with they not allowing me to login. Now, when i try to go to the yahoo wapsite, it just gives me communication error message! So is yahoo on wap dead?

No. The main wapsite with options to choose the various regional ones.

Wap.yahoo.co.uk works perfect for me, as far as i know it's wml.

Just tried 2 accounts, both logged in ok, but when i checked the mail it gave a temporary problem message. |

I logged in on the yahoo page, it says welcome and my username at the top, but when i click mail it says there was a problem accessing you mailbox, this may be temporary.
