Hi, i bought a data cable for Ericsson T65 (not original Ericsson).
The cable is originally designed for T28 and R320, but they told me
that cable is compatible with T6x.
I have installed software MyPictures (Sony Ericsson).
Q: How can i find out that connection was established?
Q: In control panel, there is Phone Monitor Options and there
in Mobile Phones, there must me my phone indicated when
I connect the cable to the phone?
I cant see anything in the Mobile Phones and all aplication (My Pictures too)
cant detect phone.
My OS is WinXP and I tried other OSs and other phone (T68i). Nothing happened.
Is cable bad or am i doing anything wrong?
Thanks for answers.

The simple answer is, the T28 data cable is incompatible with the T68/T39m.

@Cophia:
I use the data cable from my old T28 with my T65 and EVERYTHING works fine. Well..of course it's the original one from Ericsson. T28, T39, R320, R380, T520, T65 T68 all them use the same cable. =)

Interesting point on your (JuanK) ERICSSON cable working with T28 and T68i, the cables I have used were older in design and not Ericsson - Ericsson did not manufacture a data cable for the T28s at the time (only Infrared adapter was available)!

The DRS-10 or 11 is compatible with the T68
After installing the mobile phone monitor and my pictures.. you need to restart your computer with the phone connected to the computer.. make sure the correct comm port is enabled by going to the control panel and the mobile phone monitor.. after that, open my pictures, open the file you wish to send.. and click "send to phone".. be patient, it could take a while.. but you SHOULD get a set-up wizard that will enable you to connect to your phone for the first time.
