I have a (karnataka)hutch gprs connexn, can anybody tell me the email setup for my t230

Email set up for which provider? Go to wap.mymail.ro, sign up for free email and I'll give you the settings later. Also try www.bluebottle.com on the web for free pop3 email. Good luck!

I didnt ask about your network provider. I asked whos email service you want the settings for. Also make sure you have full gprs plan and not a simple wap only plan:)

I want for yahoo. Wats the diff betwn simple wap and full gprs? Mine can browse and download and upload data

Ok. A wap only connection is one which only enables you to surf wapsites only. A full gprs connection offers full internet access. You can use the phone as a gprs modem to surf the net on a pc. Also, are you talking about the email client in your phone? I don't think yahoo pop3 works in India. Did you try mymail.ro?

Ya i did. But the msg from the account manager is romanian and when i tried login in the 2nd time it showed error login. But i'll try again

GOUTSALAM, i'm also using a romanian mail provider ( www.home.ro) and the settings fot my phone (k700i) are basically the same for the pop3 account, having in mind that u can't use the smpt from that account, but the one from your operator. I'm on Orange so i'm using their relay.orange-gsm.ro on 25 and i'm able to receive messages from the account and also to send mails w/ photos, sounds... |

Those settings are correct. Tell us what settings you are using. I'll correct if Theres any mistake.
