some card readers don't support MSD PRO? |

I just got my SanDisk 512 MSD Pro card,, when i stick it in my laptops internal card reader it seems that it doesn't find it. But when i use an external card reader everything is fine. This laptop is not old so what can be the problem?
The internal reader finds my Sony 128 MSD card without any problems.
