regardless of provider, which GSM 1900 works better than any other...only voice purposes...which on gets strong signal where others get weak, which one gets weak signal where others get none...any manufacturer

I have no definate answer, but i do know that phones with external aerials are best... A good guess would be something like a motorola timeport 250 or 280. Hope this helps.

I don't think anyone can give you a really conclusive answer to this question, as GSM 1900 is fairly new.
But all in all, I agree with madmoroccan, external aerials would more than likely have the best reception for voice. |

okay, back to earth and out of orbit...isn't thuraya a satellite phone? If it isn't my bad...but I don't need that for buzzing around the city...middle of the ocean yes, middle of the city no. Which is better...R520 or T39..not for features...just voice phone puropes...which one works and receives good reception. They both have
