I got some cool gifs and pics i want to download to my phone but don't have a pc cable to do it. Wondering if some one could give me some help on how to set up wap sites so that i can upload them to the site then download them straight to my phone?

It's not as bad as it sounds.
Try www.w3schools.com/wap
That'll teach you pretty much all you need to know about coding the pages.
The hard part is getting you ISP or host to set up the server to support the mime types for themes and ringtones. That's assuming they have set up the mime types for wap correctly.
Mine didn't. They set .wml files as the mime type for.wmls files.
You'll be ok with screensavers because they are just animated gifs, so no problem there.
Other than that it's just a case of using an ftp program to put the files up there.
Have you written any web pages before?
If so you are more than halfway there.
