Airtel mms settings not working |

Can anyone give me the correct airtel mms settings? The ones which i have jus don seem 2 work.. And b4 anyone asks.. Yes i have the airtel mms service properly activated n am sure something is wrong on my side.. Messaging 646 or 501 as usual does not work.. |

Oh sorry' i forgot. I'll give the settings but pls call up Airtel and ask why the settings brent coming? It shouldn't be that way.

I've been calling them up since yday morning.. I get the same thing from them.. "please try our 646 service again".. I've got the homepage as.. http://100.1.201.171:10021/mmsc.. Whats the phone ip address supposed to be then? |

For mms to work you basically need a message server and a gprs connection to take your mms to the message server. Your message server setting seems correct so the problem probably lies in your gprs connection, in mms settings instead of using the ip and apn provided with mms settings use settings from your gprs account. That sorted it for me when i used to be an airtel user, the cc guys were as expected useless so i had to mess around myself  |

I think your apn is wrong. Is has something like "/mmsc" call up cc and ask them for 1. Apn 2. Ip 3. Port no. Ask them to tell it to you on the phone. These three is all that is needed.
