i just upgraded my windows 98se to windows xp but after my upgrade when i play games the display of the game is at the centre of the monitor(i mean .....may i know what happen to my computer and izzit any way that i can solve the problem..??thanks...

XP can screw up ypour resolution, try messing about with the screen's resolution before you play with the game and during the game using the games settings feature. |

It's not recommended to upgrade from 98, many peoples had problems. Do a fresh and clean install ( formating ) but you will lost everything |

2nd what Jim says...upgrading over an old OS is a recipe for disaster.
if your system is cluttered with software you should expect problems from upgrading over an old OS.
if your system is fairly simplistic then you should make the effort to reformat and install from new.

I tried puttin XP Pro on my 98SE machine, went on ok, but the BIOS wudnt let XP boot up! So I put 98SE back on and it had killed the sound and modem |
